My truck is in getting this remote start installed at the dealer right now.
I paid $282 for the kit with 2 new keys and $90 bucks for them to install and cut/program 2 keys and activate the module.

I'm in Alberta Canada though, so prices may be higher up here.

That's the same price my dealer quoted for me. I'm just going to do it myself and have a dealer activate it.

ya I figured the 30 to 40 bucks I would save installing it my self wasn't worth it.
And because they installed it they will back it up with warranty

Actually you would have saved about $130 to $140 bucks. You can pick up the unit for $188 from a Ford Dealer on Ebay.

you can, I can't. Shipping and duty charges to Canada put the price well over the 280 dollars I paid.
Plus waiting 3-4 weeks for it to arrive! Lol

I'm noticing the unit for sale on ebay through Fairway says it's for F250 and up?? Soooo this works with the F150 as well; Apparently Ford isn't aware of this?

RougeGT,

Here's the Ebay link for part #BC3Z-19G364-A (I don't know what truck you have)

Thanks... I have a 2012 F150 FX4 so this is what I was looking for. I like the idea of having the remote built into a key and not have fobs hanging off a key chain.
