I have a 2011 Limited and I plastidipped the wheels white and left the center caps chrome. Right now they are matte white and I will be clearing them this weekend. The pics arent great, but you can see what it looks like. My buddy also did his HD and it looks fantastic!

I waited about 15 - 25 minutes between coats when doing my badges. I would suggest doing it somewhere blocked form the wind. I had a little bit of over spray go on the truck but it easily wipes right off.

It took me and a friend about 20 minutes to clean the chrome, take off the caps, insert bags, spray and put everything back together.

I left my wheels and lugs on, just removed the center cap since I wanted it to stay chrome.

Take a Walmart plastic bag and put it between the wheel and the brakes. Don't worry about overspray on the tires, this will blend in with a coat of dust and eventually peel off on it's own.

Make sure you get the bottom of your wheels covered, I did mine and noticed later that I missed the bottom lip of the wheel. Quick fix, spray it some more.

It's best to do it on a calm, cool day. If it's windy you could get some spray on your truck. If that happens, take a microfiber cloth to your truck after it dries and it will come right up.

Spray a good layer on one wheel, move to the next, then to the next and the next. By the time you get done with the second or third wheel, the first should be dry enough to go over again.

Nice. Actually have two 2ton jack stands and my buddy has another pair so seems that ill probably be able to take them off truck to do them. Sucks that I have no choice but to paint over the wheel weights because there isn't enough clearance between the calipers and the rims for sticky weights.

If you spray the tires just as much as the wheel it will all just peel right off. Leaving the tires perfectly clean.
