Default A pillar question

Hello everybody. I am looking to see if 04-08 A Pillar can fit into a 09-11? I am looking at them and I cannot see why not. The only problem I can see that the fitment in the back might be different. Thanks in advance!

Is this in regards to the driver side grab handle? Probably easier to fabricate one.

Isn't there an air bag behind the driver's side pillar? Partly the reason there's not a grab handle there?

Ive pulled mine off to run wires and pretty sure its an airbag back there. Dont know if you'd want a gauge pod up there.
