Either you have your dome override on or something is wrong with the switch on the door. My guess is your dome override.

Mine is doing that, Seems to me it is the bulb connection.

where you also getting a low battery warning on the screen? bcm cutoff accessories so engine would start. i left my radar detector on for over a week in the garage while out of town and got low battery warning, radio would not play and i don't think the interior lites came on but truck cranked and had a couple of short trips before message went away. i read the voltage because of some problems stated on here. the battery read 12.8 volts, 14.3 volts running. all is well so far.

You can always bring this up the next time you're at your dealership, kstorm and Hammer65; they'll check things out and determine if a repair needs to be made. Feel free to reach out to me if you have additional questions or concerns.

My 2013 XLT Screw is showing the same symptoms as OP. They also won't come on with the dimmer switch.
Dome lights worked at first, then didn't, then did, now they haven't for a while. Don't think it's any of the switches, because the cargo light comes on as designed.

Wisdom, when you mention dome override, are you referring to the 3-position switch on the dome light? Because not all trucks have this, and mine doesn't. There's not another "dome override" somewhere is there?

Fixed! Went to check fuse 4, which was mentioned on another thread, and when I took the cover off the fuse box, the dome lights came on (the passenger door was open). I found the 12 pin grey connector labeled C1 was very loose. Not sure why other things weren't working, but that fixed the dome lights!
