Default The new ride

Well I decided my regular cab just wasn't cutting it for me so something bigger was in order. After seeing the killer deals on the leftover '14's I decided to see what I could find. Well stumbled across this '14 stx sport. After some haggling and all the rebates from ford I walked out about 9k under msrp. Really happy with it! Has all the features i wanted to add to my old truck already equipped. Only pit fall is the inability to add the auto headlights. The wiring isn't there for the sensor.

Here she is after we got back from the dealer.

I would look that up about the auto sensor. I thought I read on here about a couple of guys adding that feature just a couple of days ago and they had the stx. Good deal thought on the truck. I have always been a huge Oxford white fan, and I love the grill on the sport.

We got the same truck. I did mine at X-Plan and got 3 rebates off that. Also zero taxes due to owning a farm. So the truck went from $42K down to $29K out the door for a Tuxedo Supercrew with 201A and the Sport package. Picked it up Friday.

What are you doing for customizations? So far I ordered the Westin Sportsman for the grill guard and the Extang Trifecta for the Tonneau. Still pondering how to remove the speed limiter. I looked at SCT but they had no dealer within 50 miles. You gonna do a lift or any stereo mods? I'm bummed the headlights weren't automatic.

Thanks guys! Yeah I am looking into the headlight mod. Seems I need a pigtail and to do some wiring. Shouldn't be a big deal, its on my list. As for mods I plan to tint the windows, tune, exhaust, maybe do a lowering shackle to level it, replacement door speakers and a sub, spray in bed liner and probably paint the emblems. Not planning to do much.. Hehe I will have the lowering kit and helper bags off my old truck up for sale soon if anyone is interested keep your eyes out in the ads.

Sounds like a winner! I got the mod bug and I am just now finishing my list.

That list will never be done! Haha I'm sure there will be a few other things I end up doing but I want to keep it simple and easily reversible should I need to put it back to stock.
