Default Auto headlight mod?

Is there any way to get a auto headlight switch for the F150, had them in my last 5 vehicles, would like to get this function in the F150.

I saw someone added it to their STX after the fact. It required a new **** and the little black window thingy but if I recall they had problems with it working. Do a search and see if you can find his thread.

I added it to my 2010 STX. As stated above, you have to buy the switch that has the auto position and the sensor that goes in front of the tray on the dash. The headlight module is the same for trucks with and without the auto lamps feature. Total cost was like $60 and 10 mins to swap the pieces out.

Did it today on my 2010 STX as well. Yes, it was about $60. I think it took me literally 5 minutes. Ford makes it easy now. The cover on the dash, where the sensor would go, actually has the wiring harness attached to it. And the panel on the side of the dash, closest to the headlight switch, pulls right off with a quick tug. You can get right behind it, push the tabs down and swap out the switch.

Do you have the part numbers I would need? Where do you get stock Ford parts online? Thanks for the feedback.

Sure...the part # for the sensor is 7L1Z13A018-A. and the switch is 9L3Z11654-CA. Also...I actually work at a ford dealer, so I just ordered them thru work. I didn't order them online. Sorry I can't help with that
