Default Need help deciding on a color!

Hey guys,

Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2012 FX2 EB SCREW and cannot decide on a color! I am stuck between
EDIT: Color choices are now Oxford White and Red Candy (RC has appearance package) and both are fully loaded.

I have searched every thread on here, google, other forums, etc. and still cannot decide.

Please help me decide by posting which one is your favorite and why. I am a detailing freak, so keeping the car looking clean VERY important to me and plays a big factor in the color I choose. Also, the truck will be getting some visual mods and will not look stock for too long, so take that into consideration.

All opinions are welcomed and appreciated!

ACE

How long do you plan I keeping the truck? Of its along time the white will look the best over the long run but hardest to keep clean.

Typing on an iPhone with auto spell sucks! White will look the best 5 years from now, but shows dirt the most out of the colors you mentioned. I got the silver and it looks clean all the time and will look great for years. But its not my favorite color, just easy to keep looking clean!

I agree with sgb020. I have silver but looks really clean all the time. Not my favorite, but it has grown on me! I love the grey color ones the most!

Yeah, I hear you on the silver always looking clean. Im just not a big fan of silver trucks. I like it a little more on luxury cars, but definately not my favorite.

It seems like most people seem to suggest white...but maybe that is why all you see is white cars/trucks on teh road these days.

Thanks guys

I am a huge fan of red but when I see an FX4 in white, I believe it is the best color for that trim line. It just looks good.

I agree that it looks AWESOME on the FX2...

My only hesitation on white is that every truck you see on the road is White it seems...Just means I'll have to be creavite with visual mods to set it apart I guess.

I was thinking about powdercoating a set of XD Addicts in a gunmetal color...

I have both a Blue Flame FX2 and a Red Candy FX4. Both have been very easy to keep clean and looking nice. The RC seems to show imperfections earlier than the BF.

I have an FX4 in Sterling Grey and like it a lot, even though I'm pre-disposed to liking white F-150's like my last one (1990 vintage). I do believe I prefer the grey over white now.

In grey, with no chrome up front, the truck has something of a stealth look going on. Or maybe I've seen too many "ghost" cars with this colour / painted grill combo in the local police's fleet.

Yes, I've removed the FX4 sticker from the rear panels - I like the cleaner look. They come off easily, especially if the truck has been warmed by the sun a little.
