I put a small piece of tape over the reverse light while doing this. Once that was done I took the tape off the reverse light and cleared them again with three coats of clear, baked them and stuck em back on. They've been done for around two years now.
Hmm. Might give that a try. What are your thoughts on VHT Nightshades as a base?

Looks good brotha. I definitely like the new wheel and tire set up better.. i think the leveled/all terrain look is a lil over done. I havent seen an f150 around here on limited dubs! cant wait to see more progress

btw did u strip your chrome bumpers or paint over?

VHT will work okay and if you top if off with a clear after and wetsand and polish it. It won't be the same glassy look as a professional base/clear but will look good. Also you just have to do a light tint over the whole thing since you don't have to worry about covering the chrome coming though. I've done some tails just with VHT in the past with no clear and it still is okay. Just make sure everything is super clean and nice even strokes.

When I was doing the bumpers there was a bunch of sand blasting going on at the shop so I had them do my bumpers at the same time then DPed them, gravel guarded the inside and base/cleared them. The grille was done over the chrome, sanding them first, adhesion promoter, DP, base/cleared... You know the process! I can't wait to get more done myself. Thanks bro!

Took my door panels off to change my speakers. First I popped off the screw covers in the handles and removed the 8mm bolts. Then the two 6mm screws in the bottom of the panel. The panel then just lifts straight up and you can unplug the wiring etc. The speaker comes out with a 5.5mm socket. I used sound deadener around the speaker opening before put the new ones in. The rear doors are pretty much the same, I can take some pics if anyone needs them and explain them too but if you do the fronts you should be able to figure out the rears no problem. While I was at it I changed the vinyl wrap I had done over the wood from the carbon fiber to metallic black so it matches the outside of the truck now. Also took the carbon fiber off the sides of my shifter and replaced with metallic black and covered the center chrome part with carbon fiber instead. Lots more to come just waiting for the snow to go and things to warm up. Stay tuned!

Great looking build. Do you have a manufacturer or model number of the DVD player?
