So here I am now. As soon as it warms up. iPad mini installed in the dash, sound deadener and new door speakers front and back, led blinker/reflector mirror conversion and Belltech 2/2 drop (with the blocks removed it sits at approx a 2/4) also re wrapping the interior, the silver looking stuff is brushed aluminum going on the doors and metallic black to redo the center stack to match the outside of the truck. Inside that tube is also a 5'x20' roll of carbon fiber that may find its way onto something ya never know. Stay tuned, once it warms up chits gonna get real!

I traded them for the 22s. The guy that had them lifted his truck and had no use for them.

What a fantastic truck you have there. Very tasteful work, IMO.

Can I ask for more information about the ceiling DVD player? I've got a little one and that'd be really great to have. Other option is simply using one of those behind-the-headrest mounts for an iPad, but the DVD player you have is really nice. I assume it is powered by/replaces the dome light since its got its own lights? TIA.

Murphy, I LOVE your truck! I think it looks awesome with the chrome deuces, and little touches of chrome here and there. Definitely makes the truck stand out among the leveled up trucks with duratracs and trail grapplers IMO. I'm not usually a chrome fan (parents own an Escalade, go figure) but that is very well done and super tasteful.

So if it is my understanding..you went heavy on the tail light tint just around the chrome area but kept the rest of the lens a few coats lighter? I like the way those look and thinking about doing that with mine before I go with Recon tails.

Thanks! As for the DVD it does replace the dome light. It also is hooked to the factory stereo and can be played through the surround sound of my stereo or completely separate through two wireless head sets. There is a place on the side to load DVDs and a spot for USB input as well. There are sensors in the front and back so the remote works from anywhere in the truck and there are menu bottoms right on the unit that you easily press from the back seat. I had a local shop install it, my two way remote as well as tint the day the truck arrived at the dealer. I have the manual for it if you want more specifics. Definitely makes long road trips easier, and looks sweet!

Thanks bro! Yes you're right, as you can see in the pics the first one I believe is just them with adhesion promoter on them, then a few coats of tinted base I had mixed up. After putting them in and seeing it outside I didn't like how much chrome you could see so I wetsanded the clear and added extra coats just over the chrome until it was pretty much blacked out. I put a small piece of tape over the reverse light while doing this. Once that was done I took the tape off the reverse light and cleared them again with three coats of clear, baked them and stuck em back on. They've been done for around two years now.

16523. Once you are up to speed no matter in town or highway sounds like stock while cruising. Once you put your foot on the gas though you will hear it and turn heads. I've been very happy with it.
