I put the Weathertech no drill units on my '13 the weekend I got the truck. Definitely will save the paint from the road rocks/grit. Even put small ones on my Mustangs.

I just put Ford OEM molded flaps on my new 2013. My truck without factory flares required no drilling for the front or the rear. I like the way they look and they keep the crap off the exhaust. I also would recommend the Ford OEM rear wheel well liners, which are also no-drill and keep road dirt and salt from getting up in the sides of the bed.

I -====HATE====- people who don't run mud flaps on trucks. I have had SEVERAL chipped windshields over the years from people who selfishly decide to cheap out and not have them.

Trucks need them even more than cars because of the height. And no I'm not tailgating.

Don't be an @$$ - install the mud flaps.

/flame retardant suit on!

x2. I can't stand following vehicles without mud flaps. They kick up sand/salt/stones from the highway. Having road debris fly up at my truck gives me some serious road rage! Every truck should have a proper set of rubber flaps... Not the cheap looking molded plastic things that belong on a Prius.

I was just kidding. I don't follow people closely and I only have 2 chips on my painted FX4 front bumper in nearly 3 years.

Yep - mudflaps and the rear fenderwell liners, especially for those of us who drive in salt/snow/rock conditions.

Think of them as "hats and sunscreen for your truck"... they keep the melanoma away.

My fender liners are worth their weight in gold in preventing salt and sandblasting of my rear wheel arches. Best $150 that I ever spent on the truck; got the Ford part and it is a perfect fit.

Do the front mudflaps prevent snow and ice from kicking up on the running boards? Don't have them and am sick of slipping on the boards and nearly breaking my leg when getting in my truck. Any comments?
