I'm only get 15 avg MPG. Don't do any real towing, not too hard on the gas. Driving habits are pretty constant. I've got the 4.6 V8. Any suggestions?

How many miles on your truck?
Are you mostly city driving or interstate?

I get 16.1 and drive it pretty conservatively. Its a brand new truck. Does it get better mpg after it breaks in?

2010 supercab, 4.6, 3.55 with 1,500 miles.

Mostly city, last manual calculation was 17.5 miles per imperial gallon. Not driven too easy - have to move it so I don't rear ended. Dash readout said 22 mpg for the same period..lol

If it makes 20mph city I'll be very happy. Highway is actually pretty good - not measured but just cost of fuel to go a known distance - way better than my other truck.

Edit: 17.5 imperial mpg converts to 14.6 US, so yeah, I'm doing real good...lol

hand calc on my 2010 xlt 4x4 screw 5.4 and 3.55 's in the pumpkin and i only get 14 at best 4000 miles on the clock
i put a vacuum gage in it ( just to see if my driving was the reason for bad milage)found its not me or my driving. so i say enjoy the pig you got iam looking for a fool to take mine lol
and what a shame becuse i love the truck i just cant aford the $100 in gas every other day and twice on weekends. but i just might take and trade for my dads 1970 f-250 ranger camper special it gets the same milage and can pull a house lol.

we have a jobsite at the beach and I had to go there yesterday pick some stuff up for the boss man. Well, I filled my truck up it was a 155 mile round trip. Hand calculated i was at 18.2 mpg The truck's computer said 17.1 - I did 65-70mph and it was mostly all flat. When I went to the mountains carrying 4 quads, gear and small trailer I was getting like 11mpg I was also hammering it a little bit

I have the 5.4 with the 3.55 rear. I average 17 around town and 20 to 21 on the freeway. I definitely drive conservatively and have 2200 miles on her at present.

4.6 3 v Screw with 3:55's. 5,300 miles and I average 18-19 in easy around town conditions. On the road 20-21 is an easy "do". Quite satisfied with the figures.

My 4x4 Supercrew with 5.4, 3:73 rear, and 1300 miles has been driven very easy and is averaging 16 MPG in city and freeway driving. I hope this will improve some with a few more miles.
