Holy crap! Did you buy it new or used? Sounds like you got a rebuilt or salvage truck, maybe flood damaged. If you got it new I'd be contacting an attorney for lemon law proceedings.

If used, tough luck and I'd be looking to trade out of it, I wouldn't have waited as long as you have that much is certain.

Good luck no matter which way you go

It's more fun to come on here and complain. j/k

From what I understand lemon law claims are impossible to process.

well getting rid of a 20 month old truck you lose tons of money at trade. I was hoping Ford would step up and make this right so i wouldnt have to take it in the ***..

AS for lemon law, i dont have "documented" dates on all of the times the truck was dead as i cant always sit around and wait for roadside to come jump the truck so thats issue #1. You also have to do it in the 1st 18 months so all these new issues that just popped up are after 18 month time frame..... Also from some of the research i did it seems like after you screw around with all of the lemon law you still might only end up with what you would get for trade in anyway. if you win the case they deduct for milage ETC your not getting back 100% of what you paid for the truck.

like i said i figured with all the issues i was having that Ford would stand behind their product, as i have found out that is not the case at all.

Basically i will dump the truck once the warranty is up so i dont lose so much $$$. Till then Ford can keep paying for rental cars and parts and labor to keep fixing this POS. i bet they have paid out $3k so far on this truck with how many times its been in, and I'm sure this PS rack wont be cheap either.

Sucks but maybe you taking a hit on the truck it worth not having to worry. What about finding a private buyer?

When I had that warning on with no signals and stuff, I had a fried relay, swapped it out and all was fine.

Pretty sure they would have his address and name so when the truck started falling apart they would be pretty pissed off.

If your stuck in a bad truck eject. Its not worth the headache.

Happens all the time. People sell vehicles because they either have issues, or they just want something else.
