Default Moaning window..

Hi - my new EB's front passenger window 'moans' when it goes up and down. Like it needs to be lubed?

Anyone else have this problem?
Any tricks to fix it?

Ive searched the forum for solution but i cant find a thread.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Moan and lube in the same sentence. Dang. :-)
Sorry - could not resist.

No issues with mine. Suggest taking it to the dealer to look at the regulator assembly.

I've noticed same thing on front drivers side window. I think it's the outside seal making the noise. I notice more when window is wet and it's opened and closed. Noise goes away once dry.

I read it as "Moaning Widow" .... What a letdown!

My '03 GMC Yukon XL driver window moaned too. Always assumed it was a regulator issue but it started after it was out of warranty so I lived with it. I'd get the dealer to fix it under warranty.

I had the dealership lube my passenger side window for 'moaning' at the first oil change, haven't had a problem since.

My driver's side window has "moaned" ever since a trip to the beach. It's actually less of a moan, and more like nails being scratched on a chalkboard. I plan on having the dealer look at it when I go in for my first oil change. The only problem is the noise is intermittent.

dont lube it, I just returned from the dealership because of my front passenger side window moaning and squeeling (2011 EB SCREW). This is an issue they are recently being made aware of. They need to replace the actuator assembly. They just did mine and it is good as new and silent!

If they try to "lube it" they are just covering the actual problem. good luck
