That sounds like sand stuck in the outer belt seal. roll the window all the way down then press the down button again 3 times in a row (you should hear the glass go down a lil bit more) then try running your finger between the seals (the ones that run horizontal) and see if you can feel sand in there/ try to clear it out.

you might also have sand stuck in the regulator grease which would be replaced under warranty... just as long as you can duplicate it at the dealer.

As far as the rest of the 'howling/ moaning' or 'screeching' noises... most of the time these are the belt seals, either inner or outer. either:
1. the seal is worn or defective (prolly bare rubber on glass, usually makes a 'screeching' noise) or
2. the sheet metal opening is too big (there is only light seal contact with the glass which causes the seal to vibrate, usually the 'moaning' or 'howling')

My truck has been doing this since the day I picked it up, I lubed the windows the next day at work and didnt change one thing. I know its the window regulator but I'm just to lazy to change it.

I've got that problem on the passenger window but I attributed it to pine sap on the seal.

2011 SCREW passenger side was doing this - had it replaced under warranty.
