I bought a 2010 F150 Screw from my dealership that had to get the truck from another dealership due to options I wanted, I wanted "Max Trailer Tow" option was my most important one. When I went to pick my truck up the towing mirrors were not installed. Is this an option or standard with that package?? Dealer put towing mirrors on for free but now they don't have heat or memory. "Option or Standard" ??????

 

I had thought that the tow mirrors were standard with the Max Tow package.

Look at the window sticker and see if it says Max Tow.

 

It does have Max Trailer Tow on window sticker

I just looked at my window sticker and nowhere in the options column does it say Tow Mirrors. It does list the Max Trailer Tow though at a $330. Included with it is the trailer brake controller and the tow mirrors.

 

The tow mirrors are Power, Heated, Turn Signal, Manual Telescoping, and Folding. No memory feature.

 

My window sticker has two separate entries under options. One for "Max trailer tow $330" and indented under that with a bullet it says "Trailer brake controller"

Then in the next line it says "Pwr/heat/sig man tel/fold mirror $140"

So that tells me that the trailer tow mirrors are a separate option from the max trailer tow package.

And I'm pretty sure they have memory. In the buyer's guide it lists under options

So you need to have the max trailer tow package to get the telescoping mirrior as another option.

And I just checked mine, they do appear to have memory.

you would think max tow would come with tow mirrors. hello thats a part of towing needs. needing to see past the towed equipment?

max tow is on the window sticker? if not thay might have added it to the truck thay found (but this is just a guess) and then gave it to you
