Lost Keys
I have lost my keys with a 2011 Remote start key fob.
Anyone know what my options to replace are? I wouldn't be objected to just a normal key or keyless entry fob. From what I understand the replacement fob (like mine) costs $250+ !!

Do you still have one working key? If so, you can get a replacement from ebay, between $50 - $80 last time I checked. That is with the remote. Without remote, there are keys available between $10-$20. All this assumes that you still have at least one working key.
you NEED 2 working keys to program additional keys. otherwise it needs to be done at the dealer.
a regular non-fob style key WILL work just fine, but it needs to be the newer 80-bit style. if you buy keys off ebay make sure they are 80-bit. the older 40-bit style will not work.
the tricky part is non fob 40-bit & 80-bit keys look identical.

unfortunately, yes. you can still buy a key on eBay but you will still have to get it programmed by a dealer.
You only need one key if you get the 2nd one from the dealer. Cost could be from $100-200 to cut and program additional key depending on the dealer. The fob would be extra, but you can use an aftermarket one and program it yourself.

Yes, you need two working keys. Sorry, my bad. That's why getting a couple $10 keys, and programming them, was one of the first things I did after getting my truck.
