Default Lost key

I lost one of the keys to my 2011 F150. It's one of those that have the remote start on it. Does anyone know how much a new one would cost. I would guess I would have to back to the dealer to get another one, which I assume will be expensive.

Going of past experience, ~$200. Look on eBay for a blank key with the same fob setup made for Ford trucks. Have it cut and program it yourself.

I saw a blank key on ebay for $128 plus you will need to cut and program it.

Gebus. If that's the going rate for that on ebay figure $300 at the dealer. Makes sense. I had it done 2 years ago.

Can you get a plain (non FOB) blank key cut for it? Or does it require some electronic signature?

You can save a "little" money by splitting the FOB. That's what I did...They will tell you that it will not work and needs to be the all in one....which is NOT true.

I think I had 135.00 in a new key and remote FOB. Good news is that I am pretty sure that I can buy the 3rd key like the original and program it myself.

The all in one was like 235.00+55.00 for programming....I think.

Mine was 160. But they also charge you to set it up to the truck of you don't have two other keys.

The truck is leased. So I will have to give the dealer both oem keys when the lease is up. I saw the ones on ebay, would the dealer still have to program them?

If you only have one key yes, you need 2 working keys to program a third
