Default Lighting!

LED bulb replacements, boys and girls. Where'd you get em? What brand? What price? Inside and out.

I want to swap all the bulbs on my truck to LEDs, except for the headlights, but I'm utterly clueless when it comes to this. I've heard I need resistors, and I've heard I need a some kind of fuse? I'm also clueless as to where to get the bulbs. I found a website that sells LED bulbs, but I'm not gonna pay $20 for a single LED bulb. Looked on eBay and don't think I found bulbs that'd fit. I ask because my tails are tinted:

It's not so much that they can't be seen, I just want them to be seen better. lol So with that being said, lemme see what you got!

LEDs are coming from https://www.superbrightleds.com/
If you are doing turn signals or anything that flashes you'll need resistors, any on - off application (marker lights or reverse lights ) only needs the bulb replaced. If you're not going to pay $20 for a single bulb...in some cases you might as well stay with the incandescent or if you buy cheap junk LED's don't expect them to last. The backup light LEDs I have are $26 each and they are bright. Lumens and projection are what you're looking for not necessarily wattage. The beam pattern is important depending if you want a "flood" effect or distance. Search the forum there's tons of info on LED's. Headlights...stay away from those they are not ready in the market with our headlight application yet.
Happy hunting.

So flashing needs resistors. That solves that part!

But no, I don't want to pay outrageous costs for LEDs when plenty of people say eBay's LEDs work just as good. I don't necessarily want the brightest, but obviously the brighter the better. Doesn't need to last me for very long either. Just until I can afford to get better headlights and taillights.

Oh yeah...don't judge an LED's output on how it appears when you look at it but at night with how it projects.
Even a 2W light bulb in a blackout looks really bright.

These are the best. I replaced every bulb that doesn't blink with these, inside and out. Don't get to caught up in how bright the factory reverse lights are. They are meant as an indicator, not illumination. If you want to light up behind you, get some Rigids.

The cheap bulbs won't give you the desired effect. I have all great quality LEDS on my truck, and it is worth it. I've tried a few cheap bulbs and they always get replaced with better ones. I only get my bulbs from one place now. It is in the town I Live.

Well it seems all the eBay and Autozone users are asleep here lately.
