Default LED lighting

ok so I've recently converted most of my lights to led's, I've gotta quite a few questions and pm's that I thought I'd make a thread showing what I purchased and the lighting it provides. Most of my leds were purchased through Superbrightleds.com or ebay (china) I will state what leds were used and provide links as best as possible also all these pics were taken with my phone so they may be grainy

ok so to start interior map lights https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...-base/206/919/
these lights really brightened up the interior

next we have the dome light, originally I had used https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...toon/237/1123/ but i found them dull in comparison to the front, I then swapped it out for http://www.ebay.com/itm/110880791725...84.m1497.l2649
which matched the front maps lights perfectly and brightened up the rear at least 3x the festoon type bulb I had

ok moving on to the exterior

I changed my licence plate lights first with the same leds as the map lights https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...-base/206/919/

very crisp looking on the plate

Next I changed the cargo light (3rd brake light) with https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ower/910/2244/ these were so bright that they actually cast a shadow behind my truck

I had changed my reverse lights to some 7w cree bulbs, which were super bright but completly useless at the same time, for 1 you couldn't see that I was reversing if you looking from the side, 2 they had 0 useable light on when i reversed at night, 3 they caused a slight glare on my reverse screen, so out they went being happy with my cargo lights ( https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ower/910/2244/ ) I decided to try them in my reverse location, and WOW what a difference, I get the super white reverse light, they point in all directions so they make use of the reflector bowl and they have some decent light on the ground when reversing

then I moved onto the puddle lights, I ordered http://www.ebay.com/itm/290695625996...84.m1497.l2649 and had to stretch and fold the metal tabs of the puddle light housing for these to fit snuggly without popping out over bumps the result is this

I installed some rigid dually's (
Amazon.com: RIGID Industries Dually 2x2 LED Flood 20211: Automotive Amazon.com: RIGID Industries Dually 2x2 LED Flood 20211: Automotive
)behind the grill for when I go to the cottage, these things are bright! turning them on is like turning on the sun when it's pitch black outside, I'm sure there are other lights that put out more light but I could only imagine how bright they would be!

ok I had bought a pair of the spyder/recon headlights ( not giving a link because I don't want to be resonsible if someone purchases them ) to change the look of my front end, I have nothing but regrets about the purchase first I had to modify the holes on the light itself to get it to sit somewhat flush, They looked great for 2 weeks but then the halos would only turn on intermitantly, some days the left worked, some the right, some both never was constant, I changed the ballast on them as recommended by spyder and they worked for 2 days before giving up. I disconnected the halo rings all together, and just used the lights, I must admit the light output sucked! there is no better way of saying that. I really did like the look when they worked but once the clear on the lens started peeling they had to go

so once I removed the spyder lights I reinstalled the stock headlights, missing the uniqueness of those heads I looked into options of modifying my stocks keeping the cost down, my sollution was http://www.ebay.com/itm/221070604276...84.m1497.l2649 I'm very happy with the way they look, I've since wired them so they act as my drl's

Finally I did my bed lights I bought 4 of the led bars ( https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ures/622/1887/ ) installed 2 of them on a pressure switch and decided 4 would be overkill

my final led addition (before my retrofit hids) will be the turn signals on the mirror reflectors I purchased http://www.ebay.com/itm/330731294547...84.m1497.l2649 and will try to get them wired this weekend pics to follow

I did mine too... I bought all my LEDs from eBay. I looked up the bulb type on superbrightleds.com then found a comparable or brighter bulb on eBay. Most came on the slow boat from china or hong kong but they were cheap as hell.

Did you replace the third brake light bulb? Wondering what you used if you did.

My rear dome light has a center light as well as 2 reading lights on the sides? Anyone know what LED's or bulb numbers it takes to replace all 3 in the rear dome light?
