Those of you that mentioned you are running 33x12.50's, are you doing so on the stock wheels or aftermarket? That makes a huge difference with rubbing issues.

Anyone have any experience with the coilover leveling kits? Like which has best ride, etc?

Had coil over level on my last truck. No change in factory ride. Very happy with it. I added a rear lift block and ubolt kit to put a little "rake" back into it (but still less than stock).

Your talking about prob $600-$800 difference between a 4" suspension lift and a level kit.

If I go with a leveling kit, it will definitely be coilovers instead of spacers. My question is, are UCA's necessary to maintain proper alignment?

A lift kit is almost cheaper than some of these "leveling" kits. Anyone here running any of the kits I mentioned in my first post? Curious about the Fox 2.5 coilovers too.[/QUOTE]

If you are dead set on coilovers you should check out f150lifts products. They are a vendor on this forum and offer good discounts to forum members and Alex is known for great customer service. Their product is completely adjustable for up to 3" of lift over factory. New uca's are not necessary to achieve proper alignment but can be purchased to help out with upper balljoint angles

I'm running 275/70/18 (33.4") and stock rims on my STX with no level. No rubbing at all. However 33's will look small with anything more than a level. If you're dead-set on a 4" or higher lift, 35's will look much better

I'm absolutely not doing 35's. I don't want to kill mileage or power, and I want to be able to keep spare of the same size I'm running, under the truck.

I take it from the lack of responses regarding UCAs, that no one here is running them or coilovers?

Look through this thread few pics in here of guys with the f150lifts coilovers and 33" tires. None of them are running aftermarket uca's. As I said before they are not necessary. You can also search desert dawg he is running a set of fox2.5" coilovers on his truck and it looks great. Honestly though for the price and ability to adjust them on your truck I would go with the f150lifts coilovers.

Several other pages for your research.

No a 35 can not fit under the truck. Assume you meant 33 but idk if that will fit either.
I have a 35 underneath my truck right now lol.

I run 315/70/17 tires which is ~34.6 or something like that.... and a spare the same size as well. It's a little tight but it fits!
