You should still get a very slight rake with the blocks and level if you go 2.5, but its dependent on the truck. They're all different. It's a safe gamble though- if the rake is too much, pull the block out

The RC shocks they sell aren't that great. A bit better than OEM but not enough that I'd ever buy them again. There's way better options. Your bit really changing any suspension components- just adding a bit. You will lose a little down travel in your front- but if your not launching your truck regularly its not a big deal. Your rear will remain fairly unchanged with the block addition.

It doesn't take a lot to improve the suspension on these things when it comes to offroad ability- even a shock upgrade is a world of difference.

Yea I don't do off roading persay. Just going through backwoods in the fall early winter. Other then that its mostly roads. It's also seems that a 275/65/20 is the tire option most go with. Is there any other tires that will fit stock rims that may be even larger with no or minor rubbing? Thanks again everyone for all your input!

My 305x55x20 Nitto Terra's fit at stock height with no rubbing...I did level the truck later to get rid of the rake. Nitto makes this tire in an XL version that would be lighter and a little narrower then the LT version I have.

Sorry I forgot to take daytime pics... I took some tonight but it's hard to tell, didn't have a tape to put by the tire/wheel well. I took pics of mine with the 2.5 RC leveling kit and my buddy's stock (he has Bridgestone tires so you can tell which ones are his). I think the side view pic was to big. I couldn't get it to upload but the pick looks like the front is just a hair lower than the back but that could be the grade of the parking lot.

Yeah you can kind of tell that the back of the bed may be a hair higher than the hood but hard to tell

Did my level last friday.

1.5" AS from www.autospringcorp.com - $83 free shipping
Alignment at dealership - $89
Front sits only 1/4" lower than rear.

18mm deep socket for sway bar
21mm deep socket for upper A arm and tie rod end
30mm or 1 3/16 deep socket for lower strut bolt
15mm wrench or ratchet wrench for top strut bolts
17mm wrench for new top strut bolts for Auto Spring spacer
Air impact wrench makes it much easier for 30mm nut is very tight.
You Tube assembly videos really help

275/60/20 (33") tires clear fine. Minor rub on Husky mud guard. Can be trimmed.

Sorry if some of this has been covered. I was too lazy to read all the posts.

Rockhopper, I was just about to order the 2" AS. I'm getting 275/65/20 34" tire. I'd like to see a pic of your truck if you have one to see how it looks with those 33's and the slight rake! Thanks

If you want to be level go with at least a 2"... the 2.5" I have is "level" and if there's any rake to it 1 way or the other it's hard to tell. Someone would have to get a measuring tape to tell other wise. looking at it it looks like my front is a little lower but the space in the wheel well is identical to my eye. 1.5" won't be enough, unless you want a rake to tow and still be level.
