I just did the rough country level on my 2010 scab 4x4 two days ago!! I didn't do the rear part of the kit just the front, it has a 3/8 inch difference the back is lower but it's seriously in noticeable to me at least..

I love the look if I park next to a stock f150 my stance is watt beefier I'm satisfied.. Be careful of the ball joint bolt and not to strip it out ( two hour detour on my install) and the big socket you need is 30 mm for the nut and 1 1/6 inch wrench for the bolt on the strut assembly a 21 mm wrench and socket will also come in handy !!

Sherrington, that's not bad of a difference but I tend to notice the un-noticeable if its my own vehicle. I could just do the rough country front and back but the shocks that come with that kit can't be as good as my stock fx4... :-/ looks like either a 2" AS or a 2.5 rough country with add a leaf.

I've got a noob question. 2" is nice and level. Some guys do 2.5" with the 3" block (1" higher then the stock block) in the rear. And it keeps a slight rake.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to have the slight rake?

Yea I would go with the add a leaf, I'll be doing that once my wife gets over the sting of the leveling kit and the tires and the edge I have bought within the last week ha ha!! Your fx4 might sit higher in the back already my back from cement to center of rear wheel fender is 39 1/4" ish

Kenny, the rake is just so your truck will sit level if your towing heavy loads. I only tow Michigan whitetails or a pontoon lol. So I don't need a rake.
But still would never wanna be nose high, just my opinion.
I'm gonna measure it tomorrow before I go to work. I can order the RC front for 100$ now and if I sit nose high ill deal with it for a while until I can get the add a leaf. I just don't want it to break my bank. Paying for this truck is hard enough when you're only 20 and going to school!

I'll take a couple tomorrow I'm working nights right now and haven't taken a picture of it leveled yet.
yes front only... figured if I was nose high I'd add a leaf but it looks good like it is.

If add a leaf is out of your price range... the rear blocks are pretty cheap, and you could do that yourself easier than the front.

Add a leaf is only 100$ per leaf roughly right? I don't know. I seen stuff about short and long leafes etc. I was gonna wait til taxes come in but I just had back to back 50 hour work weeks ill start gettin stuff this weekend.
