I have the same size tires and 5.4 getting about 15 mph with 5star 87 per tune. I can get 14.5 all city only driving 5 minutes to work everyday with about 5 stop signs in that short time. Don't get the economy tunes they are a waste of money less power and worse MPG.

Any time you change the stance/height of a truck, you're going to take a substantial hit in the MPG department. Also, anytime you go up in tire size (albeit a small increase), you will lose MPGs as well. It's the price we pay to look cool I guess.

I like the 87 per/tow tune. The 93 per/tow is even better if your are willing to run 93 octane. All my tunes are through 5 star I bought when they had a special and you got like 5 times and the sct tuner. The canned tunes on it are better than stock but no where near as good as the ones that 5 star makes. I have not tried any other company.

Why would the lift of the truck effect MPG? Tire size will change Your odometer reading and MPG. But that isn't the lift. Lift is shims, blocks, rebuilt leaf springs,EXC. Please explain how lift changes MPG.

air flow and resistance under the vehicle. Larger the gap the more drag builds up I believe. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's it.
