Default level kit brake issue

Recently added a Readylift 1.5" level kit to my truck (2012 screw). I now seem to have brake problems. Whenever I use moderate to heavy braking I get lots of "feedback" (vibration) feel in the pedal, especially when braking downhill. It almost feels like anti lock brakes kick in but I get no indication of that on the display (if fords even have that on the display), there are no codes or service indicators on and I do stop....thankfully! Could I have screwed something up? Everything looks OK but I certainly am no master mechanic!

Sounds like your brake rotors are warped from improperly torquing your lug nuts. I had to have my rotors turned after the local dealership balanced my tires and developed a brake shudder shortly after.

Sounds like warped rotors to me too. I'd check fronts and rears. And yes improper lug nut torque can cause rotors to warp. Double check your ABS sensors/ connectors in the front just in case something got hit during the level kit installation.

usually the improper torque warp isnt permanent.

Take your wheels off, and then retorque them evenly.

Once they get hot it's permanent. I went through two sets of rotors on my Intrepid before I stopped letting the tire guys touch it. First and only time the dealership had the wheels off my 2012 F150 it came back with brake shudder. I try to tell them to put them on by hand and use the torque wrench, but they usually hurry and hammer them on with an air wrench anyway.

It's pretty common, that's pretty much what causes all warped rotors. Uneven torque and heat. I appreciated your smart ***** reply too...

what others have said, over torqued lug nuts can cause warped rotors. i will let a shop use a air wrench to take off but only torque wrench tightening them up. i am pretty **** when it comes to my truck and unless i can watch them i don't let anybody work on it. only use service dept. as a last resort.
