Torque sticks come in handy for air guns without manually torquing using a torque wrench, tool that some shops don't have a clue what that is.

The problem is, even using them causes problems. If they use a 100 ft-lb torque stick, the first lug nut hits 100 when the rest are loose and that can warp your rotors. They should really use 40-60lb sticks and then a torque wrench beyond that. I go finger tight, then 40-60 lbs, then rated torque, all in a star pattern.
