Default LED taillight conversion

Plan on converting my stock bulbs to LED bulbs and I just need confirmation on a few things. From what I've read, I will need a resistor for each bulb (4 total) because it won't match the front's speed when I turn on the blinkers if I don't. Correct? And do I need a resistor for the back up light bulb? I'm guessing no, since it doesn't act as a blinker.

You are correct sir, 3 ohm load per side but only on one bulb per side. no resistor is needed for the backup lights. Where are you ordering these from?

This thread will explain how I did mine:

My primary concern is the reverse light bulb cuz I recently nite shaded my tails and although the lights show through really good, I'd still like a brighter reverse light so I can see out of my reverse camera. I saw a pair of 921 LED white bulbs on amazon for $20. I believe they are from Putco. I looked at gorecon.com and they were $39.99 + shipping for 2 of the same bulbs

I tried LED taillights and I think they're not worth the trouble unless your truck comes with them from the factory. I upgraded my regular XL lights to blacked out FX2/FX4 version and they look great. No resistors are required!

Good timing op! I'm looking at doing the LED conversion myself. Hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread real quick...

What are the sizes of the brake/turn signal bulbs and the reverse bulbs? And I read that you need resistors for the brake/turn signal bulbs?
