It's always seemed to low, but hasn't leaked inside the cab, even when the drains were partially blocked. I only know about the gutter being partially clogged, because it was just part of the the smelly evaporator protocol.
As much as I've been tempted to make it flush, neither leaked. So I've left them alone.
I still haven't ruled out the Sirius antenna as being the culprit either. I haven't looked closely at it yet, but if I can access the underside nuts, I plan to remove it and seal underneath to see if that helps.

Will the master reset clear out my radio (presets and favorite artists/songs?).

Steve,

A master reset will erase all stored data (radio presets, call history, text message information, previously paired phones, etc) and restore your system to factory settings.

Damn!! When the dealer replaced my battery earlier this year, I lost all my saved songs. I know it sounds weird, but some of those songs took a long time to finally hear on the radio then save!!

Hey Steve!

It doesn't sound weird. I love my tunes too; I can definitely relate.

What is the version of your SD card (e.g. A4, A5)?

I started getting error messages about 3 weeks ago that say it can't read the SD card. I've never removed the SD card so I'm not sure what's going on with that.

Thanks,

Spong, shortly after picking up my 2014 Lariat I ran it through a touchless carwash and when the high pressure jets reached the back of the sunroof water started coming in and spraying everywhere. Not Cool! Upon inspection of the gasket I found that I could take 2 business cards and drop them right through in some places, so I can only imagine when it rained water was getting in and going into the drain holes since my headliner or floor never appeared to be wet. This would also explain the added wind noise that I thought was just a product of having a hole in your roof sealed with a rubber gasket! I definitely had a fitment issue, so I made an appointment to bring it in and have looked at. The tech was able to adjust it and ran it through their carwash and it didn't leak, so I agreed to take the truck. The service advisor said he was going to get a new gasket on order just in case they didn't resolve the problem. After getting it out on the highway the road noise was definitely a lot better so I figured that they had fixed the issue. Later that week I went back to the same carwash and once again had some water spray inside. So after making the appointment and leaving it with them for the day to replace the gasket my issues are gone. When I say gone, I mean I don't have water leaking in when it rains or when I use a garden hose to wash it. If I put my hand up where it seals as the high pressure jets pass you still do feel a slight mist, but to me that is going to happen with that kind of pressure spraying that close and direct. My advice would be to take it in and let them deal with it, that's what warranty is for! Hopefully this helps.

I've owned my 2001 SuperCrew F150 Lariat since I bought it new 14 years ago right after 9-11. It's been a pretty good truck other than the effing sunroof leaking and the issues associated with it (several electrical problems and now rocker panels on both sides are rusting badly). Over the years I have tried everything to keep it from leaking. After each 'fix', it ends up leaking within a few weeks. I've tried everything including having the dealer try to fix it. They even suggested I go to an after market speed shop and have a different custom room installed. It wasn't until last year I finally just taped the damn thing shut with high quality duct tape and disconnected the sunroof motor plug in the headliner display. Since then zero leaks over the past year. I see no other real solution until they redesign the thing. The design is absolute JUNK. I've owned many vehicles with sunroofs and none have leaked other than the F150.

This year I'm fixin' to buy another larger truck (most likely a Ford 250 or 350) and I can't believe FORD has the same basic crappy sunroof design on all their trucks. UNBELIEVABLE. If you want a little bit of basic luxury such as leather, almost ALL of them come with a sunroof - I don't think I've looked at a Lariat or King Ranch that did not have a sunroof. I am not going to buy one that has a sunroof.
WTF is wrong with Ford in this area? 14 to 15 years of the same bad design? I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I might end up with Chevrolet or Dodge because of a very bad sunroof design Ford insists on not redesigning.

Default Leaky F-n sunroof!!

Just one of things I think, unfortunately. I'm going on 10 years and two different trucks, an 05 and this 14. Both have been rock solid, when it has come to the sunroof.
I do go thru those touchless car washes, and yet no leaks ever. Even when I can actually see it get pushed down, by the blow dryer. Nothing comes in.
Maybe..I've just been lucky. I love them and use it every chance I get.
Hopefully, on next couple trucks my luck will continue.
