The coolant hose o ring on my truck was leaking coolant about a week ago and i replaced it with a Motorcraft oem ring and it stopped leaking. Well now its doing it again it seems to only doing it when it drops below freezing and then starts to warm back up then it will quit. Anybody else had this problem?

O ring
As I recall, Ford only has a part number for one of the rings used in the system, and priced at $7 or so. For everything else, they just offer the entire Y connector replacement. Assuming someone has put together the right sizes, I'm sure that Amazon item is worthwhile. Look in my sig for lots of details if you wish. Technically, if you have a good source of o rings, this is about a $.50 repair. But, $8 including someone doing the research and shipping isn't bad.

I bought mine on amazon and just did it 2 months ago. I could only find 2 gaskets to replace out of the kit of 3.

one of them is easy to miss. The old one will be flattened and blend right in.

also, some medium/large channel locks will help you when you assemble it back together. With the new gasket on, one of the pipes is hard to get to seal back by hand. I took the channel locks and squeezed it together with those.
