It means your truck is eligible for the coverage. But, they will likely insist on seeing the code.

i made an appointment for tomorrow lets see what they tell me...will keep yall updated.

i have a scanner that pulls check engine codes i just plugged it in and nothing no codes. guess im screwed there.

Your symptoms are in direct relation to (if 2wd) throttle body, (if 4wd) either throttle body or xfer case issues. Most likely being the throttle body.

ouch... i hope it aint the transfer case I used my 4x4 this weekend worked great. what other symptoms should i look for if its transfer case or throttle body?

so i been googling and the throttle body issue seems to only affect ecoboosts are the 5.0 affected too? i have a 5.0

All Fords with drive by wire throttle bodies are susceptible. All 5 of our Transit 250 service vans with 3.7's had them fail.

yeah the symptoms i got today seem exactly like the throttle body issues people on this forum been having. im going to replace it today and hopefully that fixes it. if not ill drop it off at the dealer.

do yall recommend an OEM TB or can i trust one from autozone, napa, etc etc????

OEM only. They revised them after multiple failures occurred so it's less likely to fail again any time soon.

$470 for an OEM TB wow...i hope this fixes my issue
