there is a pic in one of the threads listed above that show the actuator zip-tied to the lock mechanism. This is probably the best way to go. I did mine with the rod the comes with the kit, but based on where the available braces are to mount the motor itself, it was difficult to get the right shape of the rod. The zip tie method is an easier route to go. Good luck!

I see you have a '13 screw, the wires in the front pass side to use are: purple/white and grey/brown. reverse if the polarity it wrong (locks when should unlock etc) and there is a small grommet under the pass rear side where you can bring the wire in.

I would also recommend using the pass side versus the drivers side as a means to reduce wear on the actuator (assuming you are using two stage unlocking). If you are using one stage unlocking to unlock all the doors at once, use whatever side you want, but i am unsure if the colours are the same on the drivers side.
Yes the wires are the same colors on both sides but know that there are multiple grey/purple and brown/grey wires to sort through. Find the thickest ones and start there. The power locks for my ARE cap were pulled from the passenger side so I had to pull from the drivers side for the tailgate.

Got my pop and lock installed today. I ran the wires through the frame to the rubber grommet in the rear passenger side door kick plate. Tapped into the wires in the center column. Blue to small gauge purple/white. Green to gray/brown. There's also a larger gauge purple/white so be aware of the size difference.

I installed mine yesterday as well. There's something good to be said about the Pop and Lock solution. It is almost idiot proof. Even I did it!

The hardware install took only one nut to remove (once the tailgate cover was off). Where I got stuck was on the wiring. The Grey/brown and Purple/grey colors for 2013 were correct, but in my truck I had several cables of the exact same color. I decided if was time to invest in a multimeter and quickly found the correct wires.

Works like a charm. $90 on Amazon.

I went the Amazon route and the kit is nice and easy. I used a multi-meter and still had trouble finding the wires in the sill, so I just routed the cable through the boot into the rear door (driver's side) and tapped into the wires going into the door lock actuator.

Really wasn't too hard going that route...works great.
