I installed my new console today thanks to another member here. Question is does anyone know a good way to install a light into the console

looks way better then my 3rd seat. how much did the console set you back?

 

I would think the easiest way to get a light in there is to have run one into the console before bolting it down and then maybe tapping into the power line going to the driver's power seat.

edit: on second thought, probably tap a wire or fuse that's switched.

 

Lol Nadda one of the other members just swapped out he wanted a seat and i wanted the console we both got what we wanted.... And do talk think i could tap the 12v wires for power to the light

 

Ford should make a flow through for XLT's without the console shift. Like the SD's.

 

Heck yeah they should i can't see why they haven't yet
