Sorryim confusing you and myself ha I have the8"mft but it's not the one wth the navigational. Built in its touch screen display this and it has the Av/in ports and the USB ports and the ad card slot . I was wanting to know will this model let me set up a back up camera on it ? And can I get the navigation put on it

I would recommend starting a new thread for that one. I've heard of folks adding one but it is probably no small undertaking if the harness isn't in place already.

 

Do you have a part# for the bezel you used? I also have an xlt.

 

The eBay auction I purchased it from says the part # is EL3T-18A02-EA, however an eBay search of that number shows quite a few bezels with dual temp control. I'll try to remember to look at the bezel in more detail the next time I have it off and see if there are any other part #'s on it.

Just ordered my donor apim and a media module. Gonna build the harness first, then I'll order the rest. Nerdh3rd, which size wire did you use for your harness? 20 gauge?

 

Yep, 20 gauge should work perfectly. Anything bigger has a hard time fitting in the radio side connector.
Do you have a screen to go with the APIM? I should have mine up for sale next week if you need one and are interested ( /end sales pitch here)

 

I meant that apim is for making the jumper harness. Are you taking your mft out?
