Get you some tuff stuff, spray it, let it sit about a minute, scrub it and you may have to do it more then once but should look good as new after it dries!

Did they also replace your 3rd brake light? I had planned on taking my 2012 in tomorrow for the same issue. My 3rd brake light has condensation and mold on it. My tail lights also have condensation. I had planned on asking the dealer if both were under warranty.

I had a leak in my 2010 Lariat. Dealer had it twice, replaced the third brake light and GPS antenna. The next good rain it was still leaking. This time they took the whole headliner off and with one guy in the truck and another using a power washer they found it was the windshield leaking and running to the back appearing it was in the back.

My 10 XLT has had the dreaded '3rd brake light leak' twice, now.

Both times replaced by the dealer.

No headliner stains.

One leak was warrantied, one wasn't.

I noticed my brake light was full of water so I parked on an incline and spread towels
all over the back seat.

What a TERRIBLE design flaw.

I siliconed the third brake light, had the rear window replaced, and it still leaked. Sealed the pop rivits up and all good. 2012 crew cab.

Yes they replaced the light and I made sure they replaced the seal again as well.

Well my buddys truck has 2 headliner stains in the back of the cab and small stains in the front. But the truck has been like that for 2 years and the stain didn't get bigger. Can i cause a problem if I remove the brake light change the gasket? Will I maybe cause a bigger leak?

Common leaks on these trucks in order of likelihood:

3rd brake light
Back glass
Sunroof drains
Corner bond joint of sunroof track assembly
Roof antenna
Windshield

Never use silicon to seal the 3rd brake light.

Try plumbers putty in place of the gasket or RTV. It wont dry out and you can still take the light apart to change bulbs.
