I will say my new Ford has a better user interface than the Caddy for climate and audio but that's no surprise.

Bought my Platinum over a Mercedes E Class and traded in an Infiniti G35S to get it

I went from a Lexus to my F150 FX4 TT in my avatar.
I still have the Lexus in my driveway tho.. It will be sold in the Spring.

Interiors have come a looooooong way in Ford's lately. Quiet cabin too.
Stereo's are still lacking but that is to be expected from a blue collar level vehicle.

It's still no Lexus tho.....

I got automatic electric seats and heat and cool my ***. Pretty sure that is luxury. The difference between pretend luxury and real luxury, however, is I can take real luxury 5 miles back down muddy roads/trails, hike out another mile, sit in a tree for a few hours with my bow, track the deer, take it back to luxury vehicle, throw it in the bed and climb back in my heated seats for the ride back home. All this while the other said luxury vehicles sit 10 feet down the trail stuck in 1/2 inch of mud.

I needed a truck so I bought and FX4. No pun intended but these are for work and towing.

Wut? The F150 drives like a luxury car, a big honking Lincoln Mark V.

I went from my FX2 lux to a BMW 3 sedan. Interior has a much nicer feel, real wood panels, headlights that turn with my steering etc... But at the end of the day, i still miss my truck every time i drive my buddy's 13 fx4. Ill own both one day, having the f150 was a waste now that I'm in college with an apartment and sold my boat.

Now would I take an X5 50i over an f150? you bet.

I visited the BMW area at the Auto Show today. They were all crap except the 6 and 7 series. Chintzy plastic door handles, hard and uncomfortable seats, crappy leather quality (especially in the X1) and creaky panels everywhere. I was thoroughly unimpressed, I remember them being well built, quality vehicles.
