Simple/mean green... Purple power... Is what i use to clean.. And tire foam or pledge is what i use for shine

I am allergic to Armorall ... So i use pledge on the interior too.

Purple power leaves some kind of a white residue on all the aluminum parts in the engine bay. Its a pain to remove. I just simple green the engine, blow it off with my leaf blower or compressor to dry it, then spray it down with plain old armoral.

Hmm.. I use purple power on my dirt bikes. And never had any issue with it.

HATE using armor all. I think the stuf was designed tob uild up in the material, dry out eventually and be designed to only be restored using more armor all. And same with pledge I seem to get more build up faster after I put it on even though it looks nice right away.

I have used simple green on my sleds to break down grease and oils on them for years and as long as you let it soak for a bit and wash it off really good when you are done I have never had an issue with it. Great product and doesn't leave a nasty spot on your garage floor like other engine degreasers.
