Dave - I dont think your gap grill is bad at all. It appears the lower grill insert is a copy of the actual truck grill. Would have been nice if they could have added the same amount of grill bars (6) to completely match.

I have the carriage works one in my gap but I have a lariat with the chrome package so my upper grill is the chrome chickenwire style so it doesn't match all that great. has anybody found a lower grille insert to match the lariat chrome package grille?

I have the chrome package as well. I went with the black to match the bumper. I think if you go with chrome to match the grill it will just draw attention to it. I rather have the attention on the main grill, which is very cool. FWIW

We just started punching these last week. We will be a certified Ford accessory very soon. One year warranty stainless steel with stainless hardware. We are out of the Detroit area USA made. High quality. I can do better on price if you order direct from me vs. paying ebay fees. Shipping is free parcel post, extra if you want priority. Thanks. We also have the inserts to match the black and chrome factory style for the the other body packages.

I'm interested in getting this for my 5.0 because I want to put a winch in the center. Can this be done with the license plate holder that came on my truck?
