Default HIDs To Halogen?!?!

Is it possible to run Halogen Headlights on a truck that came with HIDs?

Possible to make a harness that will allow this?

Haven't heard of this before. Usually it's the other way around.

Can I ask why?

Well the main reason would be, one would need headlights when sending there's off to get retrofitted and Halogens would be much easier to find/barrow than OEM HIDs to run while yours are sent off.

May have to buy the TRS hid harness and try to reverse it. Probably will require splicing though. Only idea I have.

That's completely possible, the problem is that the harness has the female connectors. In order to install halogens in place of the HIDs you would need the male plug. If I could get a pigtail of the plug making a harness wouldn't hard.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Or take the harness and find a way to put a wire inside the female harness and clamp it to each side of the male. Might be able to get some very small female connectors to go on each pin of the male connector.

Or when you contact TRS ask if they have the male and female of the harness connectors.

Just run with fogs and turn lights for the short time, I ran mine like that for two weeks before my harness came in, less than 2 miles to work so it was enough. Turn lamps the plug is the same.
