Default hid fogs fail

So one of my fogs died, I replaced the bulb, no luck, looks like the ballast was a POS.
They are from SDX. I've reverted back to the stock bulbs and will look into some yellow led fogs in the spring. Sucks...

Probably too wet, cold and dirty here in Montreal for exposed ballasts.

Probably more like cheap aftermarket stuff; I've been down that road before and learned a long time ago to buy quality, name brand the first go around.

Wait a few weeks and pick up Morimoto XB LED fogs from TRS. HIDs in reflector buckets is plain irresponsible anyway. It ****ting the bed was just karma.

TRS is in production right now of full housing replacements. They look much like the JW Speaker 6146 already on their site. The XBs should be just under $200 for the pair.

Agreed... plus blinding oncoming traffic is just bad for both parties.
Yes...the A/M HID lights are bright...owned them before... but they definitely are not good for the road and others. Way too blinding! Pay a little more & get something that will not only work great, but last much longer & not offend oncoming traffic.
JW speaker LEDS are an option... or: Hoen H10 replacement bulbs will also match OEM HID headlights (if so equipped), and give respectable lighting.
A couple direct links to the sites to help research a little better:

JW Speakers from TRS:

The Morimoto XBs for the F150 will look alot like the JW's, but they'll be more along the pricing of these:

Those hoen h10's are reasonable at 50$ for the pair. Any idea what the lumens output is roughly on the endurance series?
