Does anyone know where to mount this on a 2012 ford?

Put where ever you want, either with an existing bolt or zip tie...just make sure the wires are on the bottom and not the top so water does not find its way into the relay.

It does not need to be "mounted" to work, you can literally put it anywhere you want, but as mentioned keep the wires away from a water source (splashes from tires, under carriage, hood seem...)

Zip tie it to another wire loom.

thanks. That's where i put it initially but the cord provided wasn't long enough to reach my cab so I had to relocate it. Got it figured out. Thanks!
