2013 F150 King Ranch
I found this piece in my hvac blower. Any idea what it’s from? It’s a dual zone system
in the one picture you can see it broke off something

Is that from you recirc air box? Its the gear. Common issue. Expensive fix!

My 13 broke and I was able to do the hack fix, you will loose your religion doing though! Some folks just leave it as is or screw it in their most used position.

Thats the crossroad I am at. Try to fix it myself or bring it to the shop. Ugh

What is the hack fix?

Since I use max AC 99% of the time, I would leave it in recirculate mode.
