Default Headlight upgrade question...

I'm looking to upgrade my headlights from my stock FX2 lights to something similar to below...

Where my question comes into play, and I hope it isnt as dumb as I fear it is, but, if the stock headlight has the main bulb (hi/lo), your blinker bulb, and your running lamp (three bulbs), then where / how does the new casing have essentially spots for two headlights hi/lo seperately), then the blinker and running lamp? Where do we get/put the 4th bulb for the HI lamp?

All the projectors I am finding (aside from the OEM's) are all setup with the two headlight "spots"...

Any insight would be appreciated!

The OEM bulbs (see below) have one BIG projector that serves for both high and low beams. It looks like the one you have pictured has two smaller projectors that fit in the same space. Yours also have a different inside housing on the inside edge. Ford's OEM's fills the space with an angled piece of plastic inside the headlight (where the "FORD" is) while yours are flat there and give space for the second projector.
As far as the blinkers/running lights, those are very small and can easily fit to the side and below of the bulbs in your pics.
I am wondering if the ones in your post are going to take a unique wiring harness though. Whatever ones you buy, make sure you ask about the harness you are going to need.

Basically you will have two bulbs for high and low instead of one bulb like stock. The projector is usually the low and the spot is the high. When highs are activated both stay on giving your high beam.

So then, do you spice in a fourth bulb? Mechanically inclined I am not, so, hence the reason for the post/questions in the first place.

I like the look but don't wanna get in over my head with something... Then again, could be WAY over thinking it as well...

"Unique harness" being the key phrase I was curious about.

Found these and kinda dig em! Rather NOT have the halo's, but, maybe they'll grow on me. Wondering if anyone has / had them. Do they hold up, etc... Pictures (installed) if you do have them would be greatly appreciated!

Heck, for that matter, pics of any aftermarket headlights (not retrofitted) would be appreciated.

I have spyder projectors and they look similar to those pictured. You do have 2 bulbs for high and low, but they hook up to the stock connection without any splicing. Just plug and play. However the halos and led's (if any) will be spliced into two wires on the parking lamp harness. Mine haven't given me any trouble, but I will say that the projectors suck with halogen bulbs. Very low visibility. Upgrade to a HID kit and they work great, just stay below 6000k. The high beams work great with my regular halogen bulbs though. Much better than the stock pattern, however I rarely use them due to the fact that I have HID's in the low beam projector.
