Header Advice?!
Hey guys, I have a 2011 f150 fx4 screw with 5.0. I'm looking at getting some headers for Christmas. Need suggestions on brand and everything else involved with them. ARH, stainless works, size etc. have magnaflow sido exhaust. Please and thank you.

To rape (er, reap) any of the benefits you will need to consider a tuner+tune(s).

I've always had JBA shorty headers. ...had them on my Silverado and Titan. Nice product, fairly easy to install . I liked the performance it produced with a 3 " cat back mandrel bent MagnaFlow exhaust! Won't be going that route on my 14 Boost. I'm over the booming exhaust note .....sleeper mode now!
Change your intake and put a tune on it.....unleash the beast!!

So I picked up the truck Tuesday evening from the SW shop and only had a short drive. First impressions - holy sh*t. Fired it up and at idle I think I got a chub. Going down the road I started to wonder did I go overboard because this system really unleashes the sound. Thursday I took a couple hundred mile trip and driving in town at low rpms it really growls, at higher rpms while accelerating it sounds like a wild banshee unleashed and runs like it too. Everyone will hear you coming and going. Sometimes it almost feels like I lost a little pep in the low rpms, but I can't tell for sure yet because the speedo seems to climb faster than before? Almost like the pedal is looser and the higher flow makes getting the power smoother vs the snappy way it was delivered before. Time will tell, but gears are the next step in the build. Took my brother for a spin to show it off and it chirped hard shifting from 3-4 at wot, which was new. Freeway speed has a slight drone, but I can still hear the tires humming too - I think the sound reverberates in the cab because with a window cracked the tones change and don't rattle my ears like it does at certain rpms with the windows closed. Definitely louder than anticipated, but i have no regrets.
