3.5 - 365hp, 420tq
6.2 - 411hp, 434tq

sorry if that makes you feel insecure being the lowest

Umm, I have an EcoBoost. I have firsthand experience on how terrible this engine is.

5.0 is best bang for your buck in these years.

3.5 isn’t reliable enough in the earlier models IMO.

5.0 does everything I NEED it to do. It’s a truck, not a race car. I’m not going to spend extra on a 6.2L.

I thought this thread was going to go downhill, and here it is in Death Valley.

It was for sure.... sometimes it needs a little kick over the edge so I provided that kick.

then why have it? trade it in on a 5.0 and improve your quality of life... seems pretty silly to keep something you are not happy with to the point of openly bashing it online, especially at this price point.

sorry to hear you are so unhappy with what you own. haven't had any significant problems in over 130,000 miles between the pair of 3.5 motors we have in the family. as they say YMMV.

I've had my 2018 3.5 EB past 100 mph before. I don't do it often though.

Yeah, always better to bash strangers on the internet. Not, HEAVEN FORBID, a mechanical object.

I wonder if a future Raptor will have the Godzilla 7.3?
Bolt a supercharger on that with 433 gears and push back in seat factor.
I am about to buy an F250 with that motor to pull a fifth wheel.

I once saw Dwight D. Eisenhower. He liked Cadillacs.
