X plan pricing is very close to invoice price minus all rebates. I think you need to talk to the dealer again because the prices you quoted above can't be correct. The dealer should give you a printout showing dealer invoice and x plan price and you should research all applicable rebates.
  • X-Plan is a pre-determined price based on dealer invoice or A-Plan price depending on brand. The X-Plan price is noted on the dealer invoice.
X-Plan

Ford
Dealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice)
Lincoln
Dealer Invoice + (0.6% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice)

*$275 Administration Fee.

The link to that truck is 38k with similar options to how I built it except for I picked the 5.0 engine and my price was $37k. I must not be understanding something. I need to find a way to attach the invoice they sent me. It is marked Dolan price and then available incentives brings price to $37k. I figure there is more room to haggle and I'm hoping by showing them another dealers ad they will match.

I checked out ted Britt and they have great prices but they won't correspond online for some reason. Every time I do a chat with their online person I'm told I need to call or come in and I want to keep correspondence through email at this point so I can compare prices without the usual back and forth dialogue

I have one dealer offering the order at $34599 plus taxes $599 processing $995 freight. Trying to get them to $33k before all that and haven't discussed my trade. Hoping to get them closer to $33k and then see if my local dealer is willing go beat that. Think I'm doing pretty good after a few days over emailing negotiating. They are also throwing in a few accessories. Am I unrealsitc to get them go this number for what I'm ordering? Surprised I got them to this number

Smaae dealer as above told me final price is $36,690 out the door including taxes etc. Asking them to send invoice and cost breakdown. Sending this to competing dealer to see if they can beat it. Think this is a decent deal?

Its kind of an old thread but sounds good to me. I found the same exact one online minus the bed extender for $384xx. Best I could do was 41300 including TTL. Then added an extended warranty for $1500 for a total of $42800. Didn't buy cause I wasn't sure if deal was good. How did I do? Should I have bought?
