good deal?
Got response from my local dealer back on a quote I submitted. I'm looking to order 2013 fx4 with 5.0, 5.5 bed, 401a package, bed extender and wheel well liners, think that's all. On xplan and after discounts they came to me with $37615 before taxes etc. I haven't told them of our trade yet. I emailed back that I'm looking to be $36k out the door with taxes etc. Think I can do better I think I'm awful close. Hoping they come back with half the difference and I can get a $750 brochure coupon to get myself there. Thoughts? Think I can do better just negotiating without xplan? Think I may go this route BC similiar optioned truck in this area of VA is $38-40k advertised after discounts applied
Curious to know what others paid for similar to this. I've searched and found old threads most don't applyto what iI've picked out to order. Again fx4 5.0 5.5 bed 401a package and that's about it. Am I where I should be as they are offering 37k before taxes? I haven't discussed a trade yet that I have and also using $750 coupon from brochure. Am I pushing too much for 36k out the door before trade?

Here is what I paid for my 2012 last July.
2012 FX4 EcoBoost, FX luxury package, navigation, 5.5ft bed. 3.73 gears. No running boards, no factory bed liner. Full tank of gas.
34,9xx. This was the best deal possible, and I did not negotiate the price through an actual Ford dealer first.

As ask, can you give the MSRP on the truck. And, sometimes you can do better without the XPlan. In my area dealers will sell you any truck at invoice plus dealer fee (usually around $500) minus rebates +Tax, tag, title. EZPZ.
