Default Getting used to the engine..

And getting used to the noises that go along with it. Posted this to maintenance a few days ago, but no-one has given any input yet..

So when I find myself driving with the stereo off, I notice what sounds like a slight spooling from over on the passenger side of the engine, close to the window. It's only there when I'm accelerating/maintaining speed, and goes away when I stop. It almost sounds as if the A/C or heater is active, but I've been sure to shut everything off. Just wanted to get some input as I'm still getting used to the truck and all the sounds that come along with it!

Thanks in advance!

I have a 3.7L. Coming out of an F150 Lightning mine could have the same sound and I just don't recognize it as there's so much difference between the two. I'll listen more closely tomorrow, shes already put up for the day.

Thanks, Wanted. I'm trying to get a video of the sound, but unfortunately I don't have the truck until about 6:00 today. (Someone hit it with a carriage and left a nasty scratch on the wheel arch, Dad's friend is an autobody tech and taking a look at it.)

Make sure the rear doors are shut tight. You have to really slam them to get them to seal on the scab.

Sounds like the ac cycling or something like that. I've heard it on mine to a couple of times.
