Do you have the defroster on? I guess it kicks on the a/c compressor to help with defrosting.

Will definitely make sure the doors are all shut tightly, thatnks!

As for the A/C cycling, that's the exact sound it is (tested driving in another car with the a/c going) and it's almost identical. Only thing is I'm hearing it with no a/c heat on.. powered off completely.. Weird..

Aren't there rubber plugs in the firewall used to slit and pull wires? Maybe one is dislodged allowing you to hear more noise from the engine compartment.

Listened close on the way into work this morning. A/C and defroster was off, doors were shut tight, sound was still there. The part that gets me is that it disengages when it comes to a stop. Has to be something mechanical, and since it's brand new, I would hope it's normal!

Shipyard, I'm sorry, I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary today. Your correct, a audio of the noise will help. Good luck.

Step 1: while driving look to the right. Is there a 300lb female in the passenger seat?

IF yes, that's ur problem.
