Default Front view camera

I did some searching but couldn't find anything for our year trucks. Has anyone added the OEM front facing camera to their truck? I did a little research and all the parts aren't overly expensive, so I am considering this. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There's a Ford front cam? Is that from 2015+?

Yes, apparently so. I was going through my service manual and found the service info and part numbers for this. Service info says part numbers cover 2011-2014. Tasca lists the camera, mounting bracket and wiring harness for the same years. I'm guessing it was available on Lariat trim and above. Havent seen it on an XLT yet.

I believe those are for the Raptors, but I have not seen any way to integrate them on non-Raptors.

The front view cameras were only available on 2013 & 2014 Raptors. They were not available on any other trim models. For the 2015 F150, Ford offered it on the Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, etc.

I would assume it's entirely possible to retrofit one to your truck though. They were incredibly useful in the Raptors. I drove a Raptor with one and when I went over a large hill and crested the top, you could look down at the MyFord Touch screen in the center stack and see over the hill even though you only saw sky through the windshield.

You can go this route if you have 8" display.
