In all seriousness yal should start a dedicated thread with a list of peoples screennames and there exact issues so people new and old to the forum can reference to ask questions to those owners and then update there status if problems are solved.

I have an appt this week to take it into an independent reputable trans shop to properly diagnose this problem, and if this shop finds and fixes the truck I will send the bill to ford.
My latest hero. Tell us how exactly you opened a case and got your extended warranty. Maybe we can follow your footsteps.

a slight 2-1 clunk like twice in almost 10k miles. But it downshifted quickly due to the idiot drivers in key west

1-2,2-1 will be a hard shift the 1st(4.17:1) and 2nd(2.34:1) gear ratio is quite wide and at certain rpms this will be harsh.

In my opinion Ford should limit 1st gear to be used in tow/haul mode.

Also I need to note that there is a different build on the transmissions depending on what engine you had in 2010. Each has a different amount of frictions and spacers(engine dependent)

I've got a 2011 ecoboost with 7k KM's on it. Tranny is a beauty towing or just driving. I have noticed a pretty hefty clunk sometimes from 1-2 or 2-3 if I'm accelerating/ driving slow. Not sure why. Not a big deal though...

I didn't notice anything when my truck was new either. I think around 8-10,000 miles was where the harshness became obvious. I didn't take my truck in for the reflash until about 15,000 miles.
Currently, I'm at 20,600 miles.

Mine isn't too bad, but when slowing down I get the 2-1 clunk right before stopping and my worst is a very hard shift about 40 mph going uphill (when giving gas to get on entrance ramp). It's been doing these since new, at 8K miles now.
