Default Ford Remote Access

Received an email that they are discontinuing service for the remote app due to AT&T decommissioning the network it relies on. Anyone know of a work around without having to install a new system?

No. Numerous threads on this. There is no workaround.

I found a viable aftermarket option several months ago. Nothing new has popped up on the market yet so it looks like I'll be doing a write up for others when I install it on my truck. The kit is $430 right now but they're having a 15% off sale on all orders over $150 now until the 13th of this month. Hate to buy it so soon so I'll be thinking about that for a couple weeks as it would knock $65 off the price.

Use the drop down menus to select vehicle and your preference how your oem fob will work with it and the (with app module option) for the complete kit with price. The app module is what allows you to use your cell phone.

Yeah I looked at them as well but neither was as plug-n-play as the 12v solutions appears to be.
